Religious and/or Christian themes are not required, however, subject matter must be in good taste.

The committee reserves the right to reject any or all entries submitted for any reason.

With the purchase of a full event ticket to Uprise Festival, an individual is permitted to submit 5 pieces of art for FREE. 
Additional pieces, will be a $1/piece.

If an individual who is not attending Uprise Festival desires to enter art, it will be $10 for 5 pieces and any additional entries will be $1/piece. 

Please note that the artist reserves the right to list their art for purchase during the art gallery.

 

And, as always, if you sell an item, we do not take a percentage of any sales.

Please email a completed entry form along with a photo of each individual submission.

Entries must be submitted by August 31st, 2013. 

Entries must be ready to display with the appropriate matting, framing, etc. 

This includes appropriate hardware for hanging, such as a wire or bracket.

If special display requirements exist, these must be noted on the entry form and approved by the committee.

Artists whose entries have been selected will be notified via email on or before September 7, 2013.

Every reasonable effort will be made to protect entries from damage or loss, but the festival cannot assume liability for such.

By entering a piece, you attest that the entry is your original work and does not infringe on the right of any third party, including  intellectual property rights and/or rights of privacy. (Materials copyrighted to Third Parties may be used only with legal permission of the owner of said copyright.)

You agree to and hereby release and hold blameless Uprise Festival (including any vendors, sponsors or volunteers, etc) from and against any losses, damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind resulting from claims based on infringement of copyrighted material, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

 

Uprise reserves the right to publish representation or images or other appropriate content of selected works in print or electronic form to promote this or future events.  

Selected entries maybe posted online or complied later for distribution.
